Trails and Open Space Reservations
Nestled at the foot of Nevada’s Eastern Sierra, Carson City affords visitors year-round access to the Carson River, three back-country lakes, multiple mountain peaks, and unspoiled shoreline along Lake Tahoe. Home to Epic Rides' prestigous "Carson Off-Road" competitive mountain biking event since 2016, plus numerous other competitive Trail Run/Race events, Carson City has you covered for year-round outdoor adventure, with 35 miles of unpaved single-track trails, 14 miles of unpaved double-track trails, and 22 miles of paved trails!
